    1. Thanks, Joss, it’s one of my favourites. You’re right, this one is easy – just wait until you see what he’s got planned for next week! πŸ˜‰

  1. I’m glad to know he found the right one after all – 17 years! Wow! Now THAT is a real accomplishment. I like the picture, too. As Claire said, a train is a wonderful analogy for a relationship. The sky in the background makes me think of the sun coming through after a storm – also telling re: the relationship(s). GWR = Great West Railways? Someone already beat me to the logo, but it was pretty easy to find in this one. Anyway, there are a lot of interesting elements in the piece, and it’s even more interesting knowing the back story behind it. πŸ™‚ Thanks so much for sharing it with us and congrats on 17 years!

    1. Thank you, Corina, it’s been an interesting journey but well worth the ride! The sun coming through shows that he was ‘over it’ with the past relationship, so I was happy to notice that, too. GWR stands for Great Western Railway, which used to exist before our railways were nationalised. Here’s to the next 17 years and beyond! πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you so much for ‘getting it’, Jacqueline. Years ago we fantasized about working on a project together – but we imagined it would be in a book that I’d written and he illustrated. This is so much more satisfying! πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you Sarah! πŸ™‚ I’ve accidentally deleted a whole slew of emails recently – yours among them – and no, I haven’t made any progress on the 10001 at all 😦

      1. Don’t worry about mine – but I hope you didn’t lose any important ones.
Plenty of time for the challenges.
