This morning, when I was out walking Indie dog, I spotted these brave daffodils on the mossy verge. They’re the first I’ve seen this year, so I had to stop and photograph them. Aren’t they uplifting?

Yes they are thank you! I won’t be seeing these for almost two months 😦
Puts a smile on my face! Even in my warm climate I’m still looking for signs of spring color. Such a lovely shade of sunshine yellow. The blue-green contrasts are beautiful, too. 🙂
A promise of an early spring perhaps. I certainly hope so.

They’re very uplifting. I love those very first signs of spring…but isn’t it a bit early yet? But maybe not where you live. We’re having some consistently cold weather here this week so winter is really just now showing up.
Yesterday I saw that the bench in the hospital grounds is surrounded with daffs already!
I love the first surprises of spring! 🙂
