This is me, Jacqueline King, curled up on my favourite chair with a mug of Redbush Tea.

I often sit here, in my first floor studio ~ gazing at the view; meditating on nature; writing, crocheting or knitting. Or just thinking.

Husband, Martin and I have lived on the Isle of Wight for nearly ten years now. From day one it felt like home. The relaxed pace suits us completely and family on the mainland are easily accessible, with forward planning.

We’ve both worked in the community, since we settled here ~ part~time, to allow us freedom to pursue our interests: art and writing, home~making and motorcycling.

Long may this idyll continue!

    1. I’ve just discovered this comment, Joceline, as part of my drive to get more organised with my blogging and reading blogposts. Thank you so much for your kind words! πŸ™‚ Now that I have the Kaboodle, this room is Martin’s studio ~ but we’ve left the chair in it, so that I can still sit with him sometimes and gaze out of the window. πŸ™‚

  1. You look so comfy, I had to smile just seeing the picture! And this blog has a comfy feeling about it too. Gotta love the random acts of cheerfulness! Tao of Scrumble is the perfect name for it.
